Aqua satellite anomaly resolved, AIRS data availability resumes

The Aqua Formatter Multiplexer Unit (FMU) anomaly that had corrupted AIRS science data from the Solid State Recorder (SSR) since August 19 was resolved on Wednesday, September 2, when the Aqua Flight Operations Team performed a soft reset of the FMU. All data is again flowing normally. As much data as possible from the affected period will be produced using direct broadcast data.
