Welcome to the 2023 AIRS/Sounder Science Team Meeting
The joint AIRS/Sounder Science Team Meeting will take place October 4th-6th, 2023, at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Hyattsville, Maryland (details below).

The NASA Decadal Survey Planetary Boundary Layer Incubation Community Meeting will take place at the same location during the first two days of that week, October 2nd-3rd. On Wednesday, October 4th, there will be a joint session between the AIRS/Sounder and the PBL meetings.
The meeting will be hybrid, and include in-person and remote presentations in the following sessions:
- Introduction
- Planetary Boundary Layer
- Weather and Climate
- Calibration and Level 1
- Retrievals and Validation
- Atmospheric Composition
- Applications

There is no fee to register and travel expenses are not reimbursable. NASA travelers please note: This event has been deemed programmatic – please do not forecast it as a conference.

A limited number of hotel guest rooms are available for the attendees of the PBL DSI and the Joint AIRS/Sounder meetings. The deadline for booking is Friday, September 8. Based on availability you may book at the group rate three days before and after the meetings. Please note that the hotel requires at least 72 hours notice of cancellation to avoid a penalty.
Free parking is available at the Hotel & Conference Center for hotel guests and meeting attendees.

The webex meeting space will be open 15 minutes before the start of the agenda, and 30 minutes past the end.
Please note the following during the WebEx if you are joining virtually;
- Please mute your mic during the talks
- If you have a question, please click on the “Raise Hand” feature which will place a small hand icon next to your name in the participant list.
- The moderator will then call on a participant to unmute his/her microphone to ask a question
- You can also write a question in the Chat box
