Choose a year, you see calendars showing numbers of granules in each
day. Go to the bottom of the page and set a start year/month/day and
end year/day/month. I suggest you work with no more than a month at a
time (i.e., Jan 1 2007 through Jan 31 2007).
Check off all the other product files you desire
Then click the "generate coverage map" button at the bottom of the page.
Restrict the area of the globe by specifying min/max lat/lon
For example. Leave the maximum number of granules to display set at 50
and then click the button "start granule search".
Shrink the dataset further by subsetting. Go to the bottom
of the page and select only those products of interest. It is
important that you select ALL the Quality Flags, for they will aid
your filtering of the data. You get a much smaller dataset .
The response page gives you an FTP script for each selected product
type and instructions for using it.
Unfortunately, the only subsetting that is allowed is for the primary
data set (in this case, AIRX2RET). To subset each data set type, you
must go through this process for each one instead of checking off the
"other product files."
