Q.  Where can I see mapped the data on methane concentration?
  

A.  t is a new product as of the Version 5 release and is as yet
unvalidated. The tools at the GES DISC do not as yet provide
thumbnail images of this product. We are working with that facility
to include methane thumbnails at some time in the future.

At this point, you must access the data products at

http://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/AIRS/data_access.shtml

to create an image with your own software. I believe that the Level 3
product, which is gridded at 1 deg x 1 deg resolution over the entire
globe, would be of greatest interest to you. As more data are
processed through Version 5 there will be three Level 3 products,
averaged daily, every 8 days and monthly.
